November 15, 2017 (Toronto, ON) – The 2017 Canada Glass Awards, Canada’s leading awards show for Christian and gospel music, was presented by Dream Insurance Brokers. The ceremony took place on November 4^th 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, and recognized the premier artists in the genre both nationally and from around the globe.

Gavin Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Dream Insurance, made an appearance on behalf of the digital brokerage. As official sponsor, the insurer partnered with other local companies such as Neale’s Sweet ‘n Nice and Yes TV, to support the festivities.

Founded by singer-songwriter Michael Stuckey in 2012, the celebration was hosted by Sheldon Neil and Londa Larmond, and featured performances by Charles Jenkins, Ruth Dente and The Campbell Sisters, among others. Notable church leaders were also in attendance to receive the Gideon Leadership Award, including Bishop James Robinson and Pastor Olutayo Ojajuni. Musical awards of the night were given in a variety of categories, such as Group/Choir of The Year, Producer of The Year, and Song of the Year respectively.

The reach of the Canada Glass Awards extends through United States, Caribbean Islands and Europe, building a strong community and creating collaborative efforts towards highlighting excellence in the Christian & Gospel music industry.
